How to Personalize your ID in Feedjit.

Personalizing your ID in Feedjit is one good way to increase viewers on your site or blog. Of course, you have to sign up and install a Feedjit widget on your blog first before achieving the results.

Since Feedjit is a live traffic widget that can let you see visitors on your site, it also does the same way when you visit other blogs or sites that have Feedjit widgets. So when the owner of a blog sees your identity on the the widget, you can easily be noticed because it has your name together with the social media account like Facebook and Twitter. Chances are your social media account associated with your site will be clicked due to curiosity not only by the owner of the site but also by some other visitors as well.

Here are three steps on how to personalize or show your ID on the Feedjit widget everytime you visit other blogs which also have feedjits on them:

First is sign in to your Feedjit account. After you have signed in, go to the upper left area of the page that says, "Manage Your ID," just below the "Your ID Stats" below the main menu.

Manage ID

Click on "Manage Your ID" and you will be prompted to your Feedjit ID page. On the top navigation bar you can see picture, settings, Facebook, Twitter, and Web ID. Just don't click anything yet since you are already on the "Your Feedjit ID Picture" section of the page. You can set up which photo you want to use for your ID by clicking the dropdown menu. You can select whether Facebook, Twitter, custom photo, or use the default image.

Select a Privacy Setting

Click on "Settings" on the navigation bar. Select  where you want your username and photo to link to, whether to your Facebook or Twitter. Mark the box check whether you want your city, the web page, and the page you landed on to be included on your ID. Then choose a privacy setting by marking the little circle that says, "Show your ID on every site you visit." Click "Save Your Settings." Then you're done.

You should see now your ID on widget with your city and country. You can try it on your own site by reloading the home page.
